My first review was when I became a new patient at Peak Dental. Now, I can share how my first procedure went, as you can see the stars give it away for sure. Walking in, Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Marie welcomed me and got me checked in. Then Ms. Lacey came ... and brought me back. She had me take a seat and explained what was going to happen. The purple napkin and the sour jelly with some gauze. It was super easy, just having to let it sit on my tooth for a while. Then Doctor Yarborough came in and said good morning and talked about what was gonna happen before it did, but in a way that I could understand. Then it was time to have the poke, which, unfortunately, for me, is the worst part. Thankfully, this is a place with amazing people, where they don't see it as that; instead, they see it as someone being a brave person who's just really nervous. And they find ways to help people get through that, whether it's with silly air, with medicine, or in my case, with turning on the TV and having someone talk and hold my hands. And that's exactly what happened for me, Fuller House on the TV, and Ms. Gabby held my hands, and Ms. Lacey and Dr. Yarborough fixed my tooth; they all were telling me that I was doing a great job. She told me everything she was going to do, so there were no surprises, and before I knew it, I was done! Everybody was super supportive, kind, caring, and even with my tears. They helped me with my tooth. Ms. Marie was able to check me out up front, and I was on my way with a half crooked smile because my face was still asleep from it being fixed! Don't worry, it went back to normal. This isn't just a dentist's office. This is a dental family who really cares about their patients, even people like me. They take the time to help the butterfly jitters settle down, and they help you feel comfortable, confident, and brave, even if you are a little scared. The best part I walk out with an awesome smile. I don't ever remember being able to do that with any other dentist's office. The dental family here is beyond amazing!!!! Read more

Dr. Yarborough has done an excellent job of setting up this office near Peak, SC. Her staff are well trained, friendly, and experienced. I recently had to have a crown replaced. Dr. Yarborough completed the task efficiently and expeditiously. I w... as comfortable during the procedure, even though I also had to have a cavity filled at the same time. The crown is now in, and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a new dentist. Read more

I had the best dental experience of my life today at Peak Dental in Irmo. I went in with two badly broken wisdom teeth and severe throbbing pain, honestly expecting a miserable experience, but Dr. Yarborough and the entire staff took incredible care ... of me from start to finish. They got me comfortable quickly, explained everything clearly, and treated me with genuine kindness and professionalism the entire time. The extractions were far smoother and less stressful than I ever imagined they could be. You can tell when people truly care about what they do, and this office absolutely does. After years of dreading dental visits, I can honestly say I've found my regular dentist. After a decade long battle with treatment resistant depression, my neglected smile was all that truly prevented me from getting my confidence back to live a fulfilling life. Dr. Yarborough and her team were beyond helpful in financial planning, treatment plans, and just being true friends and family. This team is also efficient, if they find additional areas for specialist treatment or restoration; they make sure to make every effort to complete it during the current visit rather than immediately scheduling for a later date. Peak Dental and Implant Studio are a breath of fresh air in an often “corporate healthcare” landscape. They take the time to understand you and any factors that are hurdles in your treatment.
